As the summer months die down, MAA is back in the full-swing of things. That means we are looking for some amazing volunteers to join our committees to help make our organization run smoothly. We have several options for our general members to join, so please see the list below, which includes committee names, brief descriptions, current rosters, and chair contact information.

Auction Committee - Solicits donations for the annual conference silent auction and is in charge of the auction event.

Conference Coordinating Committee - Responsible for scouting a conference city, recommending a venue for the conference, and shall work with the President to firm up contracts for the conference venue.

Local Arrangements Committee - Responsible for recruiting local arrangements personnel and shall work to support hotel block planning and conference tours/excursions.

Nominating Committee - Conducts annual elections and is responsible for the selection of individuals running for board member and officer positions.

Program Committee - Coordinates workshops, presentations, and other educational or networking events for MAA membership, including sessions and speakers for the annual conference.

Scholarships/DEI/Grants Committee - Responsible for the administration and distribution of MAA's Marilyn McNitt Memorial Scholarship, the Marilyn McNitt Diversity Scholarship, the Christiane Evaskis-Garrett DEI Award, and grant funds.
