The Michigan Archival Association invites you to join us for the 2025 Annual Meeting. This year’s meeting will be held virtually on Monday, June 16 and Tuesday, June 17, 2025.
The program will include twelve sessions as well as a keynote address and a web archiving workshop (separate registration). Presentations on Monday and Tuesday will cover topics such as: museum archiving; updating controlled vocabularies in archival description; digital preservation workflows; planning creative outreach ideas; creating and caring for digital collections; grief and archival processing; and more. The conference will once again have a dedicated session for student presentations. You can learn more about the sessions and presenters in our schedule-at-a-glance!
We are thrilled to announce that our keynote speaker this year will be Brooke L. Clement, who has served as the Director of the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum since September 2020. The workshop this year will focus on web archiving, and will be run by Lorena Ramírez-López, Community Developer for Webrecorder.
